In 2020, Royal Enfield India implemented Tenneo LMS as a Learning and Development solution to automate and standardize training across its dealer network. The deployment targeted approximately 2,000 dealerships in India and focused on extended enterprise channel training and technician upskilling.
Tenneo LMS was configured to support extended enterprise and channel training capabilities, including centralized content management, structured learning pathways, assessments, and certification workflows. The implementation emphasized standardized curricula for repair and service technicians and instructor-led training coordination alongside e learning, aligning with common Learning and Development functional models.
The implementation integrated with dealer management systems and CRM for channel training workflows, enabling enrollment orchestration and training status visibility across the network. Training completion and competency signals were routed into dealer systems for operational use, and the LMS delivered training directly to distributed dealer endpoints across India.
Operational scope included dealer service and repair functions, dealer management teams, and corporate training governance, with analytics used to identify skill gaps and inform learning pathways. Governance introduced centralized content control and dealer level enrollment and certification processes to ensure consistent execution across the channel.
Reported outcomes from the case include improved repair quality and identification of skill gaps, and a reduction in annual training logistics costs of approximately 19 percent after rollout of Tenneo LMS. The project demonstrates a channel focused Learning and Development deployment that unifies training administration and dealer operational data for ongoing competency management.
