ADDACTIS Group Legacy Addactis Smart Home Pricing (now addactis Property Risk Intelligence) Insurance Pricing and Rating Engine ERP Services and Operations n/a 2021 2021
In 2021, SADA Assurances implemented Addactis Smart Home Pricing (now addactis Property Risk Intelligence) as an Insurance Pricing and Rating Engine to centralize property pricing and support Pillar 1 regulatory processes. The deployment focused on operationalizing pricing and risk intelligence workflows across actuarial, risk and finance functions, with the application name Addactis Smart Home Pricing (now addactis Property Risk Intelligence) used throughout reporting and model outputs. The implementation automated an asset management tool by migrating the existing Excel file into an RShiny application, feeding data directly from the enterprise Datamart to replace manual spreadsheet processes. Configuration work included automated generation pipelines for the best estimate file and handling of quantitative reporting tables that the Addactis model did not natively produce, for example QRT S.19.01, and routines to calculate and apply reinsurance cession rates by line of business and by year of occurrence. Integrations centered on a secured, automated data feed architecture between the Datamart and the RShiny front end, enabling continuous data delivery into the Insurance Pricing and Rating Engine and downstream regulatory artifacts. The project also embedded a market solvency capital requirement calculation within the system, implementing the market SCR using the duration and repricing method so model outputs could be aligned with Pillar 1 valuation workflows. Governance and operational controls were established around the automated feeds and regulatory outputs to ensure data security and traceability for Solvency II processes, with specific controls for files and reports tied to Pillar 1 compliance. Where the Addactis model did not generate particular QRT items, the implementation introduced secure feed and processing patterns to flag and route those items for alternate handling within the same operational framework.

BlackRock Legacy BlackRock Aladdin eFront Insight Portfolio and Investment Management Investment Management n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, SADA Assurances implemented BlackRock Aladdin eFront Insight to formalize risk management and internal control capabilities in response to Solvency II requirements. The deployment is described alongside the modular eFront ERM suite and is positioned within the company’s Portfolio and Investment Management tooling landscape while directly supporting risk governance and ORSA reporting obligations. The implementation leveraged the modular eFront ERM Ready configuration, with core functional modules configured to define and share common reference frameworks, collaboratively manage risks and controls, track operational incidents, and produce tailored reporting. BlackRock Aladdin eFront Insight was adapted rapidly by the vendor project team to SADA’s requirements, reflecting a pre-configured to configured transition that prioritized role-based access, reference taxonomy alignment, and incident workflow orchestration. Operational coverage targeted SADA Assurances’s centralized risk and internal control teams across its Nîmes headquarters and offices in Paris and other regions, with the project beginning in May 2018, a production announcement on September 30, 2018, and user rollout scheduled for early November 2018. The deployment was adopted to enable continuous monitoring and annual internal risk and solvency assessment processes, embedding ERM workflows into existing governance rhythms. Governance adjustments included establishing a common reference framework for risk taxonomy and control ownership, and implementing collaborative workflows for incident escalation and reporting to executive leadership. Vendor commentary and executive statements in the rollout narrative explicitly link the implementation to meeting regulatory requirements and to strengthening both SADA Assurances’s internal risk posture and the vendor’s position in the insurance market.
