In 2011 SADER Legal began implementation of LexisNexis PCLaw, deploying the Legal Practice Management application to formalize firmwide practice operations. The initiative ran from December 2011 through October 2012 and was scoped to the Beirut based firm with roughly 80 employees, covering front office and back office legal functions across the SADER Group.
LexisNexis PCLaw was configured to support matter centric workflows and standard Legal Practice Management capabilities including matter management, time and expense capture, client billing and invoicing, trust accounting controls, calendaring, and basic practice reporting. Configuration work emphasized customizable billing rates, automated time capture templates for attorneys and legal assistants, and document indexing aligned to matters.
Operational integration focused on connecting the practice management application to internal accounting and document filing processes without naming external systems. The rollout targeted attorneys, paralegals, and finance staff and included user role definitions, access controls, and reconciliation routines to align billing and trust accounting with the firm finance function across the Lebanon office.
Governance included staged deployment and pilot testing within selected practice groups over the 11 month timeline, standardization of intake and billing workflows, and establishment of ongoing administration responsibilities for matter setup and client billing policies. The narrative centers on system architecture and operational adoption of LexisNexis PCLaw as the core Legal Practice Management platform for SADER Legal.
