In 2019, Saint Exupery High School deployed Artlist HitFilm within its BTS Communication program in Marseille, using Artlist HitFilm for Video Editing as the primary authoring tool for student commercials and multimedia assignments from September 2019 to May 2021. The deployment was centered on classroom and media lab workstations, supporting cohorts of students and instructors in hands on production courses.
The implementation emphasized core Video Editing capabilities, including non linear timeline editing, compositing and visual effects, titling and export workflow configuration. Artlist HitFilm was used to assemble footage, apply effects and color work, and produce deliverable export files suitable for social channels and local presentation screens. Installations were managed at the workstation level with project files organized by class cohort to align with semester based assignments.
Operational workflows paired Artlist HitFilm outputs with other creative tools specified in the curriculum, including Adobe InDesign for press materials, Audacity for radio spot recording, Photoshop for poster visuals and Prezi for oral presentations, while social platforms were used for contest and campaign distribution. The Video Editing deployment supported the school communications and media production function within the BTS Communication curriculum, enabling integrated multimedia project work.
Rollout and governance followed an academic cadence, delivered through instructor led training, assignment based assessment cycles and file submission schedules overseen by teaching staff. Administrative controls focused on project organization and quality review rather than enterprise level system integration.
