In 2021, Salesflex implemented ShipStation for Shipping Management as the operational backbone for its 3PL fulfillment center in Memphis, United States. The deployment supports order processing for more than 40 clients and is organized across seven ShipStation workstations, consolidating core fulfillment activity under a single shipping orchestration layer. The environment was positioned to handle end-to-end shipping and fulfillment processes for a small distributor operating in North America.
ShipStation was configured to orchestrate batch picking workflows and to manage kitting operations, with configurations focused on multi-carrier label creation and automated label printing. Inventory management capabilities were used to feed packing and kitting workflows, and batch label generation streamlined carrier assignment and rate application at the workstation level. These functional modules reflect standard Shipping Management capabilities applied to Salesflex's distribution and fulfillment business functions.
Operational governance centered on workstation configuration, label template control, and workflow sequencing for pick lists, kitting, and packing to ensure consistent execution across client orders. The deployment scope is explicitly the United States with ShipStation serving as the named Shipping Management application supporting Salesflex's 3PL services, fulfillment operations, and multi-client order flows.
