Emphasys Legacy Emphasys Sympro Treasury Management TRM n/a 2000 2000
In 2000 San Mateo County Transit District implemented Emphasys Sympro for Treasury Management as part of an enterprise-wide ERP program. The deployment of Emphasys Sympro was positioned to provide centralized cash management capabilities within a broader program that also selected and integrated PeopleSoft Financial and HR/Payroll, Spear2000 CMMS and Vehicle Maintenance, Paragon Project Management, and Hastus Scheduling. Emphasys Sympro was configured as the agency cash management engine, aligned to municipal treasury workflows and the Treasury Management category functional expectations such as cash position reporting, bank reconciliation, and cash receipts processing. Configuration work focused on mapping cash posting rules, bank account structures, and reconciliation schedules to transit district cash flow patterns and receipting cycles. These integrations enabled the Emphasys Sympro Cash Management application to consolidate treasury inputs from fleet maintenance, project management, scheduling, and core financial systems.
