In 2013, SandRidge Energy implemented UKG Pro HCM as its Core HR platform. The deployment established UKG Pro HCM as the central cloud-based HRIS supporting the companys HR and payroll footprint across its United States operations, consolidating employee master data and payroll administration within a single application.
UKG Pro HCM was configured to support core payroll processing and employee lifecycle workflows, including new hire and rehire transactions, terminations, payroll change processing, bonus payments, garnishment and child support tracking, W-2 management, unemployment and U.S. Department of Labor reporting, and headcount reporting for auditors. The implementation emphasized Core HR functional modules for personnel records, payroll pay run orchestration, and compliance reporting aligned with the Payroll Department and HR operations described in internal payroll process notes.
Operationally, UKG Pro HCM was integrated with the companys Kronos timekeeping system for capture and validation of employee hours coming from multiple departments, enabling time and payroll data flow between time collection and the Core HR application. Governance and process changes centered on centralizing payroll change capture, timekeeping validation, and standardized reporting to state agencies and auditors, placing UKG Pro HCM at the center of SandRidge Energys HR payroll and compliance workflows.

In 2015, SandRidge Energy implemented IBM Maximo. The IBM Maximo deployment was used as the core Enterprise Asset Management platform to manage oil and gas field assets and maintenance operations in the Oklahoma City area.
Configuration focused on core Enterprise Asset Management capabilities including asset registry, work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, inventory control and inspection workflows, aligned with upstream maintenance practices. IBM Maximo was provisioned to support role based operations for maintenance, operations and IT teams, centralizing asset hierarchies and maintenance planning.
Operationally, IBM Maximo ran alongside other application estates such as Peloton, P2 Merrick and Flowcal, with a Systems Analyst administering IBM Maximo and maintaining over 50 application servers. Administration responsibilities included data management, data modeling and the creation and support of SOX reporting using application gathered data.
Governance for the Maximo deployment included developing and prioritizing application projects, defining delivery time frames and communicating project progress to stakeholders, with systems administration accountable for operational readiness and compliance reporting. The implementation structured maintenance management, IT operations and compliance workflows around IBM Maximo as the Enterprise Asset Management solution.
