SAI360 Legacy SAI360 ESG Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) HCM n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, Sandvik Sweden implemented SAI360 ESG in its Mining & Rock Solutions division to modernize incident and hazard reporting and to drive a cultural change in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS). The engagement leveraged Evotix, an SAI360 company, to operationalize standardized EHS processes across global and Sweden contexts while centralizing safety reporting into SAI360 ESG. The implementation focused on core Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) capabilities including incident and hazard reporting, workflow-driven hazard close-out, and EHS case management and reporting. SAI360 ESG was configured to standardize reporting forms, route corrective actions to accountable users, and provide visibility for safety teams to monitor hazard closure and incident trends. Operational scope targeted the Mining & Rock Solutions division with governance aligned to safety teams, EHS specialists, and operations stakeholders in Sweden and other global sites within the division. The deployment instituted a unified capture point for near-miss, incident and hazard data to support consistent safety workflows and centralized EHS record keeping. Governance and process changes emphasized standardized hazard close-out workflows, clearer assignment of corrective actions, and stronger accountability for remediation to support a culture of hazard identification and closure. Outcomes reported through the Evotix case study include large reductions in recordable injury rates and much higher hazard close-out rates, with measurable improvements in TRIFR and LTIFR after SAI360 ESG adoption.
