In 2022, Sanofi India deployed ZS Javelin to centralize Incentive Compensation Management within its Sanofi Global Hub based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The implementation targeted commercial and sales force effectiveness workflows, consolidating incentive calculations and analytics to support Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO and R&D related commercialization activities.
The ZS Javelin implementation configured core incentive calculation capabilities and reporting modules, including deal tracking analytics, calculation rules orchestration, and cadence-based report refresh processes. Reporting and visualization workflows were implemented to produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual refreshes with embedded quality control checks, and the deployment emphasized automation and repeatable calculation logic to support finance and commercial planning teams.
ZS Associates acted as the vendor for the ZS Javelin deployment and the solution integrated with Sanofi India analytics and data sources, explicitly leveraging Snowflake as the data warehouse and ingesting commercial data such as IQVIA, APLD, and engagement and execution datasets. Business intelligence and analytics outputs were provisioned to downstream visualization tools including Power BI, Qliksense and Tableau, while analytical orchestration referenced Alteryx and Smartsheet workflows where noted by the analytics organization.
Governance and operationalization included stakeholder education across allocated global business units, initiation of contracting processes within defined timelines, and collaboration with global teams and external vendors for project planning and budget adherence. The implementation reinforced compliance procedures and operational risk controls for incentive calculations and instituted structured QC and documentation practices to support the medical, commercial and finance workstreams involved in Incentive Compensation Management.
