In 2024, Sapporo Holdings implemented Qlik Talend Cloud as the foundation of its SAPPORO DATA FACTORY. Qlik Talend Cloud is deployed as an iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) to centralize integration capabilities for the group and to provide a single platform for pipeline orchestration and data delivery.
The deployment configured Qlik Talend Cloud to handle real-time data integration pipelines across sales, logistics and finance, consolidating streaming ingestion, ETL and ELT orchestration, and data quality enforcement into a unified service. The implementation emphasized reusable pipeline templates and connector-based ingestion to standardize transformation logic and accelerate integration development for reporting and analytics workloads.
Operational rollout targeted group-wide coverage across business functions including sales, logistics and finance, and the platform began full operation on January 27, 2025 according to the vendor announcement. Governance centered on centralized integration pipelines, developer workflows and data stewardship to support SAPPORO DATA FACTORY, and the Qlik Talend Cloud deployment is cited as expected to reduce future integration costs by ~80% and to accelerate development time by ~75% per the press release.
