In 2013, Saudi Re implemented Eurobase Synergy2 Billing as part of an Insurance Billing Administration initiative. The project objective was to deliver a flexible technology platform that supports Saudi Re’s growth through the seamless integration of different functions and comprehensive processing of inwards Treaty, FAC and Life business.
Eurobase Synergy2 Billing was configured as an end-to-end reinsurance processing system, covering underwriting, claims, retrocession and accounting within a single platform. The deployment consolidated policy administration control, business intelligence reporting and client relationship management capabilities to centralize policy, claims and accounting workflows.
The implementation unified inwards Treaty, FAC and Life processing workflows and provided comprehensive business intelligence to Saudi Re users, supporting regulatory reporting, authorisation and peer review governance workflows. Operational coverage focused on underwriting, claims, retrocession and finance functions, improving data quality and governance across those business areas.
Project statements from Eurobase and Saudi Re highlighted expected time savings and operational efficiencies, enhanced policy administration controls including stronger governance and authorisation, and improvements to client relationship management. Saudi Re positioned the Eurobase Synergy2 Billing platform as a strategic and operationally effective underwriting system and indicated intent for a long term partnership with Eurobase.
