In 2012 School of Rock implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP to centralize finance and franchise management across its expanding network. The initiative targeted ERP Financial capabilities to support rapid growth from 70 schools toward 105 and to scale operations across four countries. The rollout specifically covered corporate finance, franchise royalty management, recurring billing, and centralized onboarding and training workflows for 24 company owned schools and 81 franchises.
Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured with NetSuite OneWorld global business solution to manage subsidiary franchises atop a standardized platform, combining CRM and back office functions into a single data model. Functional modules implemented included recurring billing automation, revenue and royalty processing, consolidated financial reporting, and franchise level access controls for franchisees. The system centralized safety training and code of conduct management to speed onboarding of people and processes associated with new schools.
Operational coverage extended to about 300 users across corporate and franchise operations with a pooled dataset providing real time visibility into enrollment and financials for roughly 10,000 enrollees at any given time. NetSuite OneWorld and the unified CRM and back office application provided accurate real time data to support customer management and decision making across franchise operations. The implementation reduced recurring billing runtime from 48 hours to 8 hours even as the number of schools grew from 70 to 105.
Governance changes emphasized centralized control of royalties and consolidated financial reporting while allowing franchise level operational autonomy through the OneWorld configuration. School of Rock reported cost savings of $100,000 a year in licensing and IT costs compared to its previous Salesforce.com CRM system, and the company added 28 schools in 2012 with a forecast of 34 new schools in 2013. The deployment aligned finance, franchise operations, and enrollment management functions to support sustained franchise scaling and operational visibility.

In 2012, School of Rock implemented Oracle NetSuite CRM as a cloud-based platform to consolidate customer and prospect data across its U.S. operations. The deployment established a centralized CRM foundation to support sales and marketing workflows and to provide a single record for student enrollment and customer engagement activities.
Oracle NetSuite CRM was configured to deliver core CRM capabilities typical for the category, including contact and account management, lead and opportunity management, activity tracking, sales automation, campaign management, and executive dashboards for reporting.
