The deployment targeted core finance functions under the ERP Financial category for the Australian non profit, focusing on centralized financial control for Scitech's finance and accounting organization. The initiative aimed to provide accurate data-driven decision-making, budgeting, profit and loss and accounts control and compliance management.
The implementation configured financial management modules within Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, emphasizing budgeting and planning workflows, profit and loss reporting, account controls and compliance reporting. Configuration work addressed ledger structures and financial reporting to support statutory requirements and internal accounting visibility.
Operational coverage concentrated on Scitech's finance and accounting teams, aligning transactional accounting, budgeting cycles and period close processes with the new ERP Financial application. Role based workflows and automation were implemented to standardize approval paths, budget revisions and P and L consolidation.
Empired led deployment and configuration activities and established governance around financial process ownership, control points and compliance controls embedded in the Dynamics 365 implementation. Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations provided the foundation for the stated objectives of improved data driven decision making, budgeting, profit and loss visibility and accounts control.
