In 2023, SGN implemented the ClickLearn Platform for Digital Adoption to operationalize end user, key user and super user training tied to Oracle ERP activities. The engagement covered a six month period of training delivery and design work, focusing on finance, production, quality control and production support functions within the United Kingdom operations.

| IBM | Legacy | IBM Maximo | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | Cohesive Solutions | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019 SGN implemented IBM Maximo as its Enterprise Asset Management platform in a consolidation program led by Cohesive Solutions. The deployment consolidated three Maximo instances into a single Maximo 7.5.05 environment while maintaining interfaces to existing systems and supporting over 1,000 Maximo users and 2,000 mobile users across the business that serves over ten million gas customers in Scotland and the South of England.
The technical scope centered on upgrading and merging Maximo v6 instances to IBM Maximo 7.5.05, upgrading the Syclo mobile client, and converting Java customizations into native platform functionality and Automation Scripts. Configuration work leveraged new Maximo 7.5.05 capabilities to reduce bespoke code, align mobile and server-side validations, and consolidate application functionality into one system image to reduce infrastructure and application sprawl.
Integrations were preserved to avoid operational disruption, with the Syclo mobile integration upgraded so mobile validations and Maximo validations were synchronized. The consolidated Enterprise Asset Management solution was configured to support Front Office, New Connections and CRM business streams, with merged datasets moved into a single database and roles and responsibilities adjusted to reflect new functional scope.
Cohesive Solutions provided technical project management across Design, Build, Test and Deploy phases, following PRINCE2 governance with written gating criteria required before phase progression. Deliverables included existing procedures, functional specifications, new working procedures, as-built documentation, configured Maximo applications and integrations, Unit and Combined Integration Testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing support, performance testing, training and early life warranty support.
The program achieved the project objectives stated by the client, improving the efficiency of the engineering function and reducing customizations, while consolidating infrastructure and applications into a single IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management platform. The rollout was executed with no disruption of service to the user community, and enhanced infrastructure configurations and aligned validations reduced operational complexity.
