In 2015, SDB Bank, also known as SANASA Development Bank, rolled out Dahua SmartPSS as part of a Dahua IP video surveillance solution. The Dahua SmartPSS deployment implemented a Video Surveillance System across branches, covering offices, teller counters and ATMs to strengthen physical security for banking and finance operations.
The implementation used Dahua cameras paired with 5000 series NVRs and Dahua SmartPSS video management software for centralized monitoring. Functional capabilities included live view, continuous recording and playback workflows, centralized device management and image quality improvements consistent with IP video surveillance deployments.
Operational scope covered branch sites and ATM locations with centralized monitoring and management from the bank network, enabling security teams to view and manage feeds through Dahua SmartPSS. The project was announced in 2015 and delivered improved image quality and centralized management as the primary stated outcomes.
