In 2015, Selena FM implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX Benefits Module to centralize Benefits Administration for its workforce of 1,962 employees in Poland. The deployment positioned Microsoft Dynamics AX Benefits Module as the primary tool for administering employee benefits and linking benefit records to payroll and personnel administration workflows.
Configuration focused on employee master records and benefits enrollment workflows, reflecting existing payroll and personnel practices. Functional capabilities implemented included creation and maintenance of employee personal files, administration of life insurance, foreign travel insurance, medical care, sports ticket benefits, reporting and deregistration of benefits, and support for bonus and incentive system administration. Payroll processing workflows in AX Dynamics were used to handle multiple contract types and to prepare statutory filings such as ZUS, tax, and statistical declarations.
Operational integration connected the Benefits Module to internal HR, Payroll, Accounting and Controlling processes, and to external benefit providers for ongoing settlements and provider reporting. The system supported generation and consolidation of reports for Payroll, HR, Controlling and the company Management Board, and was used for onboarding employees into incentive and benefits programs. Data acquisition and analysis workflows for remuneration market trends were maintained within the AX environment to inform benefits design.
Governance and process ownership rested with the Payroll and Personnel Administration function, specifically Compensation and Benefits specialists responsible for data entry, benefits updates, provider reconciliation and communications to employees. Administrative processes were structured to support daily payroll inquiries, ongoing benefit changes, and preparation of civil law contracts for consultants, aligning Benefits Administration with broader HR, Accounting and Controlling controls.
