In 2014, Shadforth Financial Group deployed Infor SunSystems to manage core accounting and financial operations. Infor SunSystems is used as the ERP Financial application to centralize day to day processing of financial transactions and to enforce compliance with the company financial policies and procedures across the finance function.
The implementation covers Accounts Payable and General Ledger workflows, supplier and employee master data setup, invoice processing and coding, commission reporting, prepayment allocation and payroll tax handling. Operational functions implemented in Infor SunSystems include processing approximately 500 invoices per week, RCTI processing, creation of 15 to 20 new supplier or employee records per week, distribution and splitting of invoices to cost centres and states, and preparation of month end and quarter end account analysis.
Named integrations and operational interfaces are used as part of the deployment, including commission data uploads via Olicc, bank reconciliations performed against NAB statements, execution of BPAY payments, and maintenance of AMEX Corporate Card statement records within the system. The scope is centered on finance department operations across organizational cost centres and state reporting lines, with day to day responsibility for resolving supplier payment queries and coding payment documents.
Governance and operational controls implemented through Infor SunSystems emphasize transaction verification against financial policies, structured supplier onboarding and payment query resolution workflows, and month and quarter close procedures.
