In 2021 Shanta Residential implemented PayProp Residential Property Management, a Real Estate Property Management application to centralize client accounting and automate rent processing. A year after implementing PayProp's client accounting platform the business had grown its managed portfolio to approximately 200 properties, reflecting rapid operational scaling tied to the new system.
The deployment focused on PayProp Residential Property Management core capabilities, including automated rent collection workflows, client accounting with bank-accurate statements, and cloud-based access across devices. The platform was configured to standardize month‑end rent processing and reconciliation, converting a manual set of tasks into a repeatable, time-boxed process for the small team.
Operationally the implementation affected rental finance and landlord servicing functions, reducing the time required to process rents and reconcile payments. Shanta Residential reported processing around 50 rents on the first of every month in five to ten minutes, a significant contraction from prior daily reconciliation work, and staff could handle landlord enquiries and payments remotely via the cloud access.
Governance and vendor support played a role in sustaining the rollout, with on-demand support from PayProp used to resolve complex accounting exceptions.
