In 2014, ShareThis implemented Domo as its Analytics and BI platform to centralize revenue forecasting and margin reporting across Revenue Operations and Business Intelligence functions. The deployment targeted management of gross margin and the revenue forecast pipeline for existing and beta media and data products, with executive deliverables provided to the Board of Directors, CEO, CFO and CRO as well as company wide visibility.
Domo was configured to support modules for automated revenue recognition workflows, cost forecasting and KPI dashboards that surface contribution and profitability metrics. The implementation emphasized data mining and reporting capabilities to develop internal BI products, and engineering, marketing and sales were coordinated to instrument metrics and automate key performance indicator monitoring.
The Domo deployment ingested and unified data from SalesForce, ERP systems, AdServers and DSPs to optimize order and financial management and to enhance media, data and publisher operations. Data pipelines and ETL into Domo enabled consolidated views of campaign performance and financials, aligning ad serving and demand side technology stack information with revenue and cost models.
