Constellation Software Inc. Legacy SmartCOP Government ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals implemented SmartCOP as a Government ERP to support trust-wide clinical quality and assurance workflows. The deployment is associated with development of a Digital Clinical Assurance capability that addresses clinical compliance, integrated analytics, and improved data management across the trust. The project selected Connexica's CXAIR to create the Digital Clinical Assurance system, using CXAIR form based capture to feed near real time reporting for clinical quality and audit. CXFLOWS and CXFORMS functionality is inferred from the explicit use of CXAIR form based data capture, and the solution emphasized form driven capture, integrated analytics, and clinical compliance reporting modules. Operational scope covered clinical quality, audit and compliance functions across the trust, with form based capture serving as the primary data ingestion layer for near real time assurance reporting. The implementation linked data collection workflows to integrated analytics and reporting capabilities to support ongoing clinical audit and quality assurance activities. Governance changes centered on instrumenting clinical audit workflows and formalizing form based data capture processes to produce consistent, auditable data streams for reporting and compliance. SmartCOP was positioned as the Government ERP backbone in 2019, while Connexica CXAIR provided the data capture and analytics orchestration used for Digital Clinical Assurance across the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals trust.
