| Cirdan Imaging | Legacy | Cirdan Ultra LIS | Laboratory Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2024 | 2024 | In 2024 Sherwood Forest Hospitals United Kingdom selected Cirdan Ultra LIS from Cirdan Imaging for its Cellular Pathology service, using the Laboratory Management application to modernize pathology reporting and workflow orchestration. The implementation targeted Cellular Pathology to standardize case tracking and reporting processes across the trust. Deployment included migration of historical patient data into Cirdan Ultra LIS and configuration of core Laboratory Management capabilities such as case management, slide and block tracking, report authoring and workflow automation for specimen accessioning and sign out. The project emphasized data validation cycles and configuration to reflect cellular pathology workflows and role based access for pathologists and biomedical scientists. Integrations were delivered with downstream systems ICE, Infoflex and Labcomms to enable electronic requesting, result routing and downstream notifications, with interfaces designed to support bidirectional exchange and result dissemination across clinical teams. Operational coverage focused on the Cellular Pathology department while providing hospital wide connectivity for pathologists, laboratory staff and requesting clinicians. Go-live for Cellular Pathology occurred in late April 2025 and post go-live activity reported efficiencies and positive user feedback according to the project source. Governance and rollout used phased cutover and migration validation to preserve historical patient data integrity and maintain continuity of pathology reporting workflows. |
