In 2021 Shimojima Co. implemented PROSRV on Cloud as a Payroll modernization and continuity initiative. The program paired the cloud-hosted PROSRV on Cloud application with PROSRV BPO to secure business continuity and reduce back-office workload as part of a phased DX program.
Deployment focused on Payroll and personnel administration capabilities, consolidating payroll and personnel administration workflows into the PROSRV on Cloud environment while leveraging PROSRV BPO for ongoing operational processing. Configuration and staged feature rollouts were used to pace functionality exposure and ease user adoption across HR staff.
The project was scoped to Japan-based HR and payroll operations, combining a SaaS delivery model with managed BPO services to shift routine transaction processing outside the internal team. Governance emphasized phased releases and process changes within HR and payroll to align operational responsibility between the cloud application and the BPO partner.
The engagement explicitly targeted securing business continuity and reducing back-office workload by introducing PROSRV BPO alongside PROSRV on Cloud, enabling incremental capability adoption via staged rollouts to ease operational transition.
