In 2013 Show-wa implemented NEC GroupVision together with NEC EXPLANNER/Ai to centralize and integrate large-volume transactional detail into consolidated accounting and management reporting. The NEC GroupVision solution went into service in April 2014 and was deployed as an ERP Financial platform to unify financial close and management-accounting workflows across the company.
The implementation concentrated on core consolidated accounting and management-accounting capabilities, including high-volume transaction processing, centralized general ledger posting, automated journal processing, and accelerated day end reporting. Configuration emphasized transactional capture and posting rules, consolidated reporting structures, and management reporting templates to improve financial visibility.
NEC Solution Innovators led the deployment and integrated EXPLANNER/Ai with NEC GroupVision as the operational engine for transaction detail consolidation. The rollout covered Show-wa business operations in Japan and targeted finance and accounting functions, creating a centralized processing architecture rather than distributed local ledgers.
