The implementation supported payroll inputs that were reconciled against bank records and supplier payments handled by the finance team, reflecting integrated finance and payroll operations even where formal API level integrations are not detailed.
Governance and process ownership rested with the Finance Assistant who had sole responsibility for credit control, invoices sales and purchases, processing delivery notes and checking signed delivery notes, bank reconciliations, payments to suppliers, drawing down money from invoice finance and preparing invoice finance monthly returns. This role also performed credit checking on Experian and enforced agreed credit limits while ensuring payroll data matched validated timesheets, centralizing data accuracy and operational control within the finance function.
