| Greenway Health | Legacy | Greenway Health Integry | Medical Practice Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016 SIMED Health implemented Greenway Health Integry as its Medical Practice Management application to centralize patient access and administrative workflows across its ambulatory clinics. Greenway Health Integry was configured to support front desk operations, scheduling, patient check in and check out, and medical records preparation, providing a single operational record for routine office tasks.
The implementation focused on core Medical Practice Management capabilities, including insurance verification and the obtainment of authorizations for scans and testing, telephone handling processes such as answering phones and cancelling and rescheduling appointments, and account creation and referral processing. Greenway Health Integry was used to standardize check in and check out procedures and to capture registration and referral data to support clinical intake and billing workflows.
The deployment included explicit integration with Intergy and Intergy EHR for creating accounts and routing referrals, enabling information entered in Greenway Health Integry to be shared with the EHR environment for clinical continuity. Integration work emphasized record handoff between administrative workflows and the clinical record, aligning referral and authorization status with patient scheduling events.
Operational governance centered on front office and clinical administrative teams, with workflow configuration to route authorizations and insurance checks into staff task queues and to enforce standardized scripts for appointment management and records requests. The rollout established role based access for registration, scheduling, and medical records staff, and formalized processes for preparing and fulfilling medical records requests within the Greenway Health Integry environment.
