Deployment architecture emphasized mobile access for construction site users on any mobile device, with workflows tailored to rapid random purchases and prompt payment needs typical of large scale home building. Operational coverage focused on AP teams and construction managers across Simonds Group nationally, centralizing invoice processing and reducing the need for project managers to perform routine invoice verification.
Governance was reinforced through configurable approval chains and inline cost oversight to enforce delegations and rate supplier performance, embedding procurement control into everyday AP workflows. Outcomes documented in the case study include AP data entry headcount reducing from 12 to 9, construction manager invoice checking time falling from days per week to less than an hour per week, and reduced nationwide costs and overspend that improved the business position in supplier negotiations.
