Tungsten Automation Legacy Tungsten PSIcapture Intelligent Document Processing Content Management Digital Document Solutions 2021 2021
In 2021, Sitro Group implemented Tungsten PSIcapture as an Intelligent Document Processing solution deployed in Australia to digitally capture and process high volumes of retail orders. The deployment aimed to ensure warehouses receive timely, error free pick lists and to remove the need for staff to print and manually sort paper orders. The use case centered on order intake and fulfillment orchestration within distribution operations. The Tungsten PSIcapture implementation encompassed document capture, OCR driven data extraction, validation and automated classification to convert incoming order documents into structured data. Configuration included automated generation of electronic pick lists and creation of persistent order audit trails, enabling indexed retrieval and traceability of order documents. Workflows were instrumented to route processed orders directly into warehouse handoff queues to accelerate the transition from order capture to fulfillment. Digital Document Solutions served as the system integrator for the rollout, executing deployment and configuration across Sitro Group warehouse and order processing functions. Operational governance shifted away from printed paperwork to an electronic routing model, changing handoff procedures for warehouse staff and formalizing audit trail requirements. Reported outcomes from the implementation included reduced printing and manual sorting, improved order auditability and a faster handoff to warehouse operations.
