In 2021, Smily deployed BookingSync to manage online reservations. Smily implemented BookingSync for Reservation and Booking Management and embedded the BookingSync booking engine on its public website to capture bookings and present real time availability through a web native flow.
The implementation uses BookingSync's cloud based booking engine, exposing a web widget and API surface on Smily's site to centralize inventory and availability management. Functional configuration emphasizes inventory management, availability calendar, reservation lifecycle orchestration, automated confirmation messaging, and guest communications. BookingSync is configured to support Smily's reservation operations, with role based access for operations staff and workflows that route new bookings to the reservations team for fulfillment, while governance focused on consolidating booking workflows on a single platform and assigning operational ownership to the reservations and operations teams.
