In 2019, Société Générale Bank Brazil implemented Fortra Automate Plus in a Robotic Process Automation deployment to automate overnight report generation, working with Sicolos Brazil on the implementation. The project targeted finance and operations in Brazil and addressed daily reporting tasks that had been performed manually and consumed up to six hours of staff time each day.
Fortra Automate Plus was configured to run unattended, scheduled workflows that assemble, format, and distribute routine reports during overnight windows. The implementation emphasized bot orchestration, automated report assembly, exception logging, and scheduled distribution to downstream recipients, aligning with standard Robotic Process Automation capabilities for unattended batch processing.
Sicolos Brazil led the deployment work and handoff, with operational ownership placed in the bank finance and operations teams in Brazil. The rollout produced significant time savings and enabled scale for routine reporting tasks, while governance practices were established around scheduled execution, monitoring, and exception handling to maintain operational reliability.
