In 2014 Socotec implemented Kyriba Treasury as its enterprise Treasury Management platform to centralize daily liquidity control for French subsidiaries and to provide supervisory visibility over international platforms within the Group Treasury. The deployment positioned Kyriba Treasury as the operational hub for cash management activities under the responsibility of the Group Treasurer and a deputy treasurer role based in Guyancourt, France.
Kyriba Treasury was configured to support core cash management and forecasting workflows, including integration and reconciliation of bank statements, entry and monitoring of cash forecasts, weekly cash flow forecasting, balancing of bank accounts, and administration of cash pooling positions. Functional configuration explicitly covered payment execution for third parties such as suppliers and advances, accounting for cash pooling entries and bank charges, and reporting of cash positions, collections, flow statistics, and interest scales.
The implementation incorporated treasury communications and banking protocols specified in role requirements, notably SwiftNet and Ebics, to connect bank accounts and international platforms. The platform footprint included administration of the TMS Kyriba, ongoing user awareness and continuous training, and operational handling of bank account openings and closures, KYC and FATCA documentation requests, and set up of bank guarantees as part of legal and compliance processes.
Governance and operating model changes centered on embedding Kyriba Treasury into Group Treasury daily operations with a defined remit for the deputy treasurer to animate cash flow forecasts, supervise international platform positions, and maintain user training. The scope of operational coverage spanned treasury, accounting and compliance functions across the French perimeter and international platforms, with the system serving as the primary instrument for treasury workflow orchestration and control.
