In 2023 Solbrew engaged FingerTec reseller M Cube Technology to deploy TimeTec FingerTec Kadex across its Solomon Islands operations, focusing on strengthening site security and modernizing workforce time management. The program deployed this solution as a Time Clock (Hardware) implementation at production and facility entry points, targeting HR and security functions.
The deployment included a mix of FingerTec devices, specifically H2i, i-Kadex, and Ingressus IV, with configuration centered on biometric enrollment, access control zoning, and time attendance logging. TimeTec FingerTec Kadex was provisioned to manage local device authentication, capture fingerprint templates, and produce standardized attendance records for downstream HR review.
Operational coverage emphasized HR and security teams at Solbrew sites in the Solomon Islands, where device footprints were placed at controlled entry points and staff time capture locations. Enrollment workflows and administrator consoles were used to register employees and maintain biometric templates, aligning physical access events with attendance capture for shift-based and fixed-schedule workers.
M Cube Technology executed on-device configuration and rollout tasks, and governance was structured around centralized administrator roles for device management and user provisioning. Process changes included formalizing biometric enrollment procedures and consolidating time capture workflows to ensure consistent data capture across devices.
According to the vendor case write-up the deployment improved access control and made workforce time tracking more efficient and accurate, reflecting the stated outcomes of the TimeTec FingerTec Kadex installation.
