In 2017, Sollers deployed the 1C Enterprise Platform as a centralized ERP to standardize production, payroll, warehouse and accounting across approximately 20 manufacturing sites in Russia. The implementation used 1C:ERP built on the 1C Enterprise Platform and was delivered with systems integration support from PROF-IT GROUP, positioning the 1C Enterprise Platform as the enterprise-wide ERP backbone for manufacturing and finance functions.
The implementation configured core modules drawn from vendor case components, including salary and personnel management, 1C:WMS for warehouse processes, and 1C:Accounting for statutory and management accounting, together with production automation capabilities on the 1C:ERP framework. Configuration work emphasized a common data model for items, BOMs and personnel records, role-based security, and transaction-level traceability to support shop-floor capture and payroll processing workflows.
Operationally the deployment centralized reporting and document workflow across sites, consolidating transactional data to a single 1C:Enterprise repository to enable cross-site financial consolidation and unified inventory visibility. Integrations focused on site-level data collection and document exchange rather than external third party systems, with the platform providing centralized master data governance and distributed operational nodes at each manufacturing site.
Governance and rollout followed a phased, site-by-site approach led by Sollers IT and manufacturing process owners with PROF-IT GROUP providing implementation services, change control and configuration management. Standardized process definitions and document routing were introduced to align personnel, finance and warehouse workflows and to reduce configuration drift during the multi-site rollout.
The program delivered measurable reductions in production cost, inventory and reporting times as reported in vendor materials, while shifting core business functions including operations, human resources and finance onto the 1C Enterprise Platform ERP environment. 1C Enterprise Platform remains the central system for operational transaction processing, consolidated reporting and cross-site document workflow for Sollers.
