The Access Group Legacy Access Attache Accounts ERP Financial ERP n/a 2013 2013
In 2013 Somerville Community Services upgraded to Access Attache Accounts as its core ERP Financial application, initiating a version upgrade of the Attaché Accounting package to bring financial systems in line with legislative compliance. The project was positioned to strengthen the accounting and financial management function across the organization and to formalize controls in financial reporting. The Access Attache Accounts implementation consolidated standard accounting capabilities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and statutory reporting configuration, while updating system settings to reflect current compliance requirements. The organization paired the software upgrade with a formal review of accounting and financial management policies and procedures to ensure operational processes matched the software configuration and legislative obligations. Alongside the Attache upgrade Somerville initiated an upgrade of its NILS community database to add an emergency relief funding module and an enquiries module required for Department of Social Services reporting changes, aligning community program data requirements with financial reporting controls. This work established coordinated governance across finance and community services, centralizing reporting workflows and policy enforcement to support consistent compliance and operational practice.

Officevibe Legacy Officevibe Employee Experience HCM n/a 2016 2016
Somerville Community Services implemented Officevibe in 2016 as its Employee Experience application. Officevibe is used to engage employees for feedback and gauge overall satisfaction across the organisation. The Officevibe deployment focused on continuous employee feedback capabilities typical of the Employee Experience category, including regular pulse surveys, anonymized feedback collection, and engagement analytics for HR and leadership review. Officevibe was configured to deliver scheduled surveys and aggregate sentiment indicators to support internal engagement and workforce wellbeing programs. Operationally Officevibe was deployed alongside Somerville’s broader cloud toolset including Microsoft Office 365 Teams, Quality Hub, Asana, SharePoint, and existing workforce systems such as Humanforce. Governance for Officevibe management was aligned with the organisation’s move to distribute systems ownership to the departments that use them, supported by the new Systems team led by Chief Information Officer Steve Kopandy and Systems Project Manager Kai Whipps, while the IT department retained responsibility for hardware and communications infrastructure.
