In 2018 Sonoro Energy partnered with Blox Labs to co-develop PetroBLOX, a blockchain-based smart-contract supply-chain platform identified as Blockchain Platform. Phase 1 development began in 2018 with an explicit focus on improving procurement transparency and project-management efficiency across Sonoro Energy upstream exploration and production processes in its Southeast Asia and Canadian operations.
The implementation centered on a procurement and tendering module that was announced mid 2018, with the module built around smart-contract orchestration, an immutable ledger for transaction records, and permissioned access controls for suppliers and internal stakeholders. PetroBLOX was designed to support contract issuance workflows, bid submission tracking, and on-chain auditability consistent with blockchain platform capabilities.
Deployment scope and operational coverage were targeted to Sonoro Energy procurement teams and project-management functions supporting upstream E&P sites in Southeast Asia and Canada. The project integrated PetroBLOX with existing procurement and project-management workflows, consolidating supplier onboarding, tender evaluation, and contract lifecycle steps into a unified smart-contract ledger rather than introducing named external systems.
Governance and rollout were co-designed with Blox Labs, establishing smart contract governance rules, role-based permissioning across regional sites, and a phased rollout starting with procurement and tendering before planned expansion into contracts and broader supply-chain orchestration. The stated objective of the PetroBLOX implementation was to increase procurement transparency and to streamline project-management efficiency without specific outcomes or metrics provided.

In 2022 Sonoro Energy deployed FullStory on its corporate website to capture session level behavior and web event data. The FullStory implementation is positioned to support Customer Experience activities across the company, instrumenting public-facing pages to surface user journeys and interaction patterns for marketing and product stakeholders.
The deployment uses FullStory session replay and user behavior analytics capabilities to record page views, click paths, and form interactions, implemented via the FullStory JavaScript snippet embedded across site pages. Configuration included capture rules, event tagging aligned to site conversion points, and privacy masking to limit collection of sensitive data while enabling UX diagnostics and funnel analysis.
Operational coverage is the Sonoro Energy website, with data intended for digital marketing and product UX review workflows within the organization. Governance was structured around role based access to session data and capture policy settings to control what is recorded, ensuring FullStory data supports Customer Experience teams without broad uncontrolled data exposure.
