In 2022, Soudal deployed the Azkoyen ADT 1110 Time Clock (Hardware) to strengthen onsite workforce tracking and safety compliance across its manufacturing footprint. The rollout targeted Soudal’s industrial operations encompassing 14 production sites and a workforce of approximately 2,500 employees, addressing deficiencies in prior manual absence tracking that could not meet stringent Seveso safety requirements.
The implementation combined time and attendance management with access control and visitor registration capabilities, configured to support a self-service portal, team occupancy overviews, and multilingual kiosk interactions. Hardware components included the Azkoyen ADT 1110 terminals as tactile capture points for badge-based clocking, a 16-language touchscreen kiosk for drivers and visitors, and badge-controlled VIP access, delivering standard time clock functionality alongside visitor check-in and license plate capture workflows.
Operational integrations tied the Azkoyen ADT 1110 data streams into Soudal’s payroll and reporting ecosystem, including automated reporting into eBlox from SDWorx and capture of transport and SAP reference data at kiosks. The deployment was scoped to impact HR, operations, and site security teams with real-time attendance feeds and centralized reporting, enabling badge reuse across access control, time tracking, and emergency procedures while supporting multisite, multilingual operations.
Governance and safety workflows were restructured to use badge-based evacuation columns and supervisor notification of evacuation rosters to meet Seveso compliance needs. Outcomes documented by the deployment include automated time tracking for 2,500 plus employees, faster and more secure visitor processing, Seveso-compliant evacuation tracking with real-time presence data, and a scalable infrastructure for future expansion.
