In 2015, Source4Teachers implemented Domo as its cloud Business Intelligence platform to formalize analytics capabilities. The Domo deployment addressed the company Analytics and BI needs identified by an executive leader reporting to the CFO who drove an IT strategy spanning data warehouse, billing automation, ERP, CRM, case management, analytics and cloud migration projects.
The implementation of Domo supported integrated reporting and operational dashboards used to surface analytics across finance, payroll, credentialing and operations. The cloud BI rollout was paired with a cloud based application framework that enabled substitute credentialing, billing and payroll automation, and operational systems access control for approximately 200 corporate users.
Source4Teachers established a mission critical data warehouse using Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS hosted on Amazon AWS EC2, and implemented Domo cloud BI to consume and visualize warehouse data. Domo was configured to present consolidated reporting and to support analytics workflows fed by the SSIS ETL processes into the MS SQL Server repository.
Governance and rollout were coordinated through the CFO organization with cross functional collaboration between IT and business leaders to define reporting requirements and automation priorities. The program successfully implemented the MS SQL Server data warehouse and established the Business Intelligence strategy and tool selection using Domo, creating a centralized analytics layer for billing, payroll, credentialing and operational reporting.
