In 2016 South Stream Transport implemented Hexagon Infor CMMS, a Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) application. The deployment established an asset database and a spare parts database, prepared warehouse processes, and launched the INFOR EAM interface to support base work planning. The implementation targeted maintenance, warehouse and operations functions across South Stream Transport's sites, consolidating equipment records and spare inventory control. Initial configuration emphasized structured work planning and a maintenance optimization plan creation phase.
Hexagon Infor CMMS was configured with core modules for asset management, spare parts and warehouse management, work management and scheduling. Job packages were defined to include procedures, materials and tools, testing requirements and works prioritization. The system development phase included mobile app integration via e checklists to support field data capture and work execution by technicians.
Integrations explicitly included the INFOR EAM interface and a mobile e checklist application for frontline technicians, enabling synchronous asset and work order updates. Operational coverage emphasized site support, maintenance supervision and coordination with operations, with system launch activities focused on enabling routine maintenance workflows. Configuration retained structured data to support equipment reliability analysis and CMMS failure management workflows.
Governance changes established a Management of Change organization and formal MoC processes, combined with management reporting, stakeholder communications and staff informing protocols. Rollout included CMMS management trainings for site staff and subcontractor personnel training, together with organizational requirements and capability reviews. Ongoing governance supported KPI tracking, performance measurement and maintenance strategic plan supervision.
The implementation also incorporated processes for equipment reliability data analysis, reliability goal setting, gap analysis and cost justification of selected plans, while enabling resource optimization proposals and budget preparation. Work management controls were enforced through identification and validation of works, scheduling, reporting supervision and KPI control, with continuous improvement and iterative system development cycles defined.
