| Altair Engineering | Legacy | Altair Knowledge Works | ML and Data Science Platforms | AI Development | n/a | 2019 | 2019 | In 2019, Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center deployed Altair Knowledge Works within the Altair Managed Analytics Platform to expand its Data Intelligence Solutions capability and broaden organizational access to operational and clinical data. The implementation established a centralized, managed analytics environment that delivers interactive visual analysis and serves as the primary data intelligence layer for the hospital system. Altair Knowledge Works was configured to provide interactive, intuitive visualizations, data access and data preparation tools that allow users to quickly access and prepare any data from any source. The implementation emphasized visual analytics, pattern and outlier detection, and the ingestion of previously inaccessible formats, including information locked in PDF documents, to enrich analytic datasets. Operational coverage focused on combining operational and health information to support functions such as infection surveillance, clinical quality review, and operational decision making, with analytics workflows accessible to clinical, quality, and operations teams. Integrations were implemented to pull disparate data into the managed analytics platform, enabling unified views of where and when infections occur and supporting routine visual analysis across departments. Governance and rollout prioritized shared access and user-driven analysis, shifting reporting away from static charts toward an environment where staff can get answers on the fly and iterate on visualizations. As a result, Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center used Altair Knowledge Works to create and share powerful visualizations, to identify patterns and outliers in near real time, and to surface data previously trapped in static documents for a more complete operational and health information view. |
