The implementation used the IMAge local module to manage the POS cashier system, tying cashier transactions directly to inventory control, order orchestration and delivery tracking to provide a unified operational view for store managers. Functional capabilities explicitly included point-of-sale transaction processing, store inventory visibility, order and delivery management, and consolidated sales reporting consistent with grocery retail workflows.
Rollout expanded from a pilot to hundreds of stores, extending the InterSystems data platform across the retail estate and empowering local store managers with a single view of sales, inventory, orders and deliveries.
