| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Retail (ex Retek) | Retail Management | ERP Services and Operations | APM Technology | 2016 | 2016 | In 2016, SPAR Russia implemented Oracle Retail (ex Retek) for Retail Management at its SPAR Tula operations. The deployment addressed a strategic shift away from attempts to build an in-house ERP and from adapting non-retail systems, moving instead to a standardized retail platform to support growth and process consistency. The program emphasized a vanilla implementation approach, prioritizing core Oracle Retail functionality such as merchandising, assortment and pricing, inventory and replenishment planning, and store operations management. Configuration work limited bespoke changes to accelerate adoption and align SPAR Russia processes with Tier1 retail operational models. APM Technology served as the systems integrator, leading configuration, testing, and integration activities across store and back-office environments. The rollout covered merchandising, supply chain planning, inventory control, and store operations, with integration work focused on operational feeds to enable replenishment and pricing workflows. Governance centered on staged rollout, strict change control, and requirement prioritization to preserve upgradeability and enforce process standardization. According to COO Andrew Anosenko, SPAR Tula reported improved alignment of its processes with Tier1 retail practices and progress against Oracle Retail goals and challenges. | |
