In 2020, SSB Group implemented Databuild Accounting as its core ERP Financial application. The deployment established Databuild Accounting as the primary system for accounts receivable and accounts payable workflows, and for processing customer claim invoices used by the accounts team and departmental administrators.
Databuild Accounting was configured to support invoice data entry, customer claim invoice processing, payment allocation, and basic ledger posting consistent with ERP Financial capabilities. Routine operational tasks documented during implementation included processing customer claim invoices via Databuild, printing and posting invoices, allocating client payments, and saving records to the company database.
The application was integrated with Excel based processes for invoice data entry and reporting, reflecting a hybrid workflow where staff prepared or cleaned data in spreadsheets before recording transactions in Databuild Accounting. Departmental users included accounts personnel responsible for allocations and dispute handling with supervisors, and shire liaison administrators who used the system to record shire payments and to track permit related charges and documentation requests.
Governance relied on role based process controls and cross departmental workflows, with accounts retaining responsibility for transaction posting and dispute resolution while departmental admins coordinated permit payments and retrieval of files from certifiers. Operational controls emphasized consistent invoice capture, printing, archival to the corporate database, and reconciliation between spreadsheet records and Databuild Accounting entries.
