i3–Software & Services Legacy i3–Software & Services GFA Government ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2017 2017
In 2017, St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office implemented i3–Software & Services GFA. The i3–Software & Services GFA application was deployed as a Government ERP to centralize governmental fund accounting and daily financial workflows for the sheriff office finance team. The deployment focused on core fund accounting capabilities, including accounts payable processing for weekly invoices, accounts receivable processing with preparation of daily deposits, and daily general ledger entries. Configuration emphasized purchase order issuance and control, fund-specific cash management for multiple bank accounts, and routine reporting tasks such as annual unclaimed property submissions and state revenue sharing distributions. Functional terminology used in the implementation included GL posting, AP automation, AR reconciliation, PO processing, and fund reporting consistent with Government ERP operations. Operational coverage included the finance functions supporting three office locations, the CFO office for audit support, and transactional owners responsible for monthly tax distribution to parish governmental offices totaling approximately $58 million annually. The system captured deposits and ledgers across multiple proprietary funds, including General Fund, Fines and Bonds, Sales and Seizures, Commissary, Occupational Licenses, Garnishments, Narcotics, and Special Projects, and supported distribution workflows for State Revenue Sharing exceeding one million annually. Governance practices centered on daily GL processing, structured tax distribution cycles, and annual financial audit preparation activities using i3–Software & Services GFA.
