| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Cloud HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2018 | 2019 |
In 2018, Stallion Oilfield Services implemented Oracle Cloud HCM as part of a consolidated Oracle Cloud deployment. The implementation addressed Core HR requirements and was positioned to provide a single-cloud foundation for HR administration, payroll workflows, and employee lifecycle processes across the company.
Stallion deployed Oracle Cloud HCM alongside Oracle ERP and Oracle EPM in a unified footprint, enabling HR and finance analytics to run on the same cloud platform. Oracle Cloud HCM was configured to support scalable, automated HR processes so the business could grow without proportionally increasing SG&A headcount, and to provide role-specific access for HR administrators and infrequent field users.
The project was delivered with integration services from Perficient, and the combined Oracle Cloud ERP, HCM, and EPM ecosystem was implemented as a streamlined single-cloud architecture. This architecture centralized transactional HR data, financial close data, and enterprise performance management data, enabling internal teams to produce operational and financial reports without ongoing outside support.
The rollout completed in eight months and since go-live Stallion has executed more than 11 successful financial closes on the platform. Within six months after go-live the company produced more than 150 reports without external assistance, and third-party consultants audited the system after 11 closes and validated its accuracy. The implementation changed reporting and governance workflows by enabling self-service analytics and reducing reliance on external BI teams while providing a unified Core HR and financial data foundation.
