In 2014 Standard Meat implemented Aspen Canopy as its Food and Beverage ERP in a multi-phase twelve month initiative delivering core business functionality to its Dallas and Fort Worth plants. The implementation focused on operationalizing financial and operational workflows across the organization, positioning Aspen Canopy to serve as the central Food and Beverage ERP for finance, procurement, production and distribution functions.
The deployment delivered explicit modules including Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, Production, Shipping & Receiving and Business Intelligence Reporting. Implementation activities included master data preparation, business process analysis and documentation of mission critical procedures, and configuration work to support report and event generation using Aspen Canopy interfaces Aspen View, Event Watch and Pulse.
Integrations were executed to connect Aspen Canopy with the company data layer, leveraging Microsoft SQL Server through Aspen View and Event Watch, and executing B2B integration with a third party provider BirdDog Software. The project also documented and integrated workflows with finance and accounting, logistics, master data management and quality assurance to align cross-functional operations across both plant sites.
Governance and rollout were led by a twelve member management team with two external consultants, with the senior project manager providing weekly updates to C-Level executives and directing project lifecycle, change management and organizational change management practices. The program included test management for planning, execution and reporting of core and variant test scenarios, and was reported as successfully managed with delivery of the stated core business functionality using Aspen Canopy.

In 2009, Standard Meat implemented To-Increase AX Anywhere Production Control as part of its Supply Chain Management tooling to address shop floor production control across its manufacturing operations. The deployment targeted production execution and operational visibility within the company's United States facilities, aligning production transactions with core inventory and order management workflows.
To-Increase AX Anywhere Production Control was configured to support production order processing, routing and operation sequencing, bill of materials visibility, lot and batch traceability, and shop floor data collection. The implementation included real time work order status capture, labor and machine transaction recording, and production event logging to create auditable production records.
Architecturally the solution was delivered as an extension to Microsoft Dynamics AX, integrating production transactions with ERP master data, inventory, and order modules. Shop floor terminals and mobile data capture devices fed production events into Dynamics AX, enabling synchronous posting of completions and inventory movements and preserving transactional consistency between the plant floor and the ERP ledgers.
Governance focused on production and operations process controls, including configuration governance for items, routes and BOMs, role based access for shop floor operators, and operational workflows for order release and completion. The rollout emphasized aligning shop floor procedures with ERP transaction rules to ensure consistent master data usage and controlled production posting.
