Integrations focused on linking Aladdin Climate outputs into investment management, risk analytics and finance operations, aligning portfolio construction, risk measurement and reporting pipelines with climate data. The deployment reflects an enterprise-grade architecture that centralizes ESG data and risk calculations within the Aladdin data model and risk calculation engine to enable consistent inputs across investment desks and operational teams.
Governance and process changes emphasized centralizing ESG data stewardship and embedding climate analytics into investment decision workflows, with phased onboarding across teams following the March 2023 announcement. STANLIB aimed to use BlackRock Aladdin Climate to standardize ESG reporting, tighten climate-informed risk controls and scale climate analytics use across its investment and operations functions.
