In 2021, Stockmeier Holding centralized product data management by deploying Pirobase PXM, including the Pirobase PIM capability, as a SaaS Product Information Management solution. The deployment targeted roughly 26,000 chemical products and was rolled out across Germany and EMEA to standardize product data processes across the STOCKMEIER Group international subsidiaries.
Pirobase PIM was configured to operate as the central product master, consolidating product attribute sets, harmonizing taxonomies, and associating digital assets with product records. The implementation included data enrichment workflows, attribute standardization, and template driven generation of product and regulatory datasheets on demand. These capabilities were delivered through the Pirobase PXM platform to manage product experience content alongside structured product information.
The solution enabled integrated CMS driven multi channel publication, creating synchronized output channels for web, catalog and regulatory documentation. Operational ownership spanned product management, regulatory affairs, marketing and sales teams across regional subsidiaries, providing a single point of truth for cross functional consumers. The SaaS architecture centralized data governance while supporting localized publication needs in EMEA.
Governance was instituted with standardized data processes, role based approval workflows and centralized stewardship to improve data quality and discoverability. The Germany and EMEA rollout established Pirobase PIM as the authoritative product information source for downstream CMS publication and regulatory deliverables. The implementation prioritized predictable publication pipelines and controlled data lifecycles for chemical product content.
