In 2021 Subway Ge implemented JungleWorks Dispatch, deploying the vendor Tookan delivery and dispatch platform as a Shipping Management solution within a UK Subway franchise. The deployment began as a pilot and progressed to franchise-wide use, aligning JungleWorks Dispatch with on-premise point-of-sale order flows to manage consumer delivery orders and operational dispatching.
JungleWorks Dispatch was configured to integrate POS order feeds with automated driver assignment, geofencing, customer notifications, and route optimization capabilities. Functional capability coverage included dispatch orchestration, automated allocation rules for drivers, geofence-triggered workflows for store and driver handoffs, notification templates for customers and drivers, and route optimization routines to sequence multiple deliveries.
Operational scope covered franchise delivery operations including store managers and on-shift drivers, with rollout governance focused on pilot validation followed by standard operating procedures for order routing and driver assignment. The case study records reduced delivery cost and overcoming daily operational challenges, and reports an approximately 65 percent improvement in delivery efficiency after implementation of JungleWorks Dispatch.
