Functional impact concentrated on accounting, financial reporting and management reporting workflows, enabling staff to shift from manual data assembly to oversight of automated outputs. Governance changes included formalizing reporting schedules and role-based responsibilities for period close activities, replacing manual reconciliation tasks with system-driven procedures. As a result of the Infor SunSystems deployment Summerland reduced month-end processing from 12 days to five, automated cost centre, branch and product reporting, and increased staff productivity allowing more focus on service and higher-value financial management activities.
