Governance and operational controls around the UKG Pro HCM deployment reflected existing IT practices, including standardized automated SQL Server builds via PowerShell, code reviews prior to production approvals, and centralized management of database objects in source control. SQL Server migrations completed during the 2014 to 2017 period maintained zero or only a few minutes of downtime for individual application migrations, a continuity characteristic leveraged during the 2017 UKG Pro HCM rollout to minimize service disruption.
