In 2014 Sun Siyam Resorts implemented Infor SunSystems as its ERP Financial application to centralize the group financial and accounting function. The deployment of Infor SunSystems positioned the application as the primary ERP Financial platform supporting corporate accounting for the resort group and site-level accounting needs across its Maldives operations. The implementation focused on core financial modules typical for an ERP Financial deployment, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, intercompany accounting, consolidation and statutory financial reporting. Configuration work emphasized multi-entity and multi-currency bookkeeping, period close orchestration and automation of recurring financial workflows to standardize month end and intercompany processes. Architecturally the deployment was executed as a centralized finance instance with site-level data segmentation and role based access for property and corporate finance teams, enabling centralized reporting and local transaction processing. Operational scope touched finance, treasury and procurement teams, with the application serving both corporate accounting and operational accounting at individual resort sites. TRG International acted as the system integrator and implementation partner, providing deployment services and ongoing support. Customer feedback highlighted TRG International’s professional support, patience and domain knowledge, noting a marked improvement in the supplier support experience for Sun Siyam Resorts after the Infor SunSystems implementation.
